maybe its just me but the uad 1176 crushed the antelope. It had a nice pump to it, wasnt as harsh, the antelope seemed to suck the life out of the drums

What about the CPU Load graph and numbers in Activity monitor? It shows that the "User CPU load" is around 10 to 15% the whole time...

I've watched a lot of your videos comparing Bitwig and Ableton, and I agree with a lot of things. But I don't know if you use Max For Live, but I do. There are a lot of plugins that I really like and there is nothing like this in any other DAW. Do you use Max For Live? And if so, have you solved this problem for yourself?

I think the producers recording vocals through cubase or reaper were laughing watching this video. :) Because it seems to me that recording vocals in cubase or reaper is much faster and more convenient, on a par with Logic. Still, it seems to me that Ableton Live and Bitwig Studio are programs more suitable for electronic dance music, where all the sound is based on synthesizers and if there are vocals in the track, then it was most likely taken from a sample pack or Splice. P.s Sorry if the text of the comment is not quite correct, I use a translator. And of course, I could be wrong, because I haven't really used anything other than Ableton Live. bitwig sucks.. hotkeys is bad, popping up instruments is slow, an TINY buttons.. ect

I just bought a MPC Key 61 as a first time MPC user and I am in the weeds with it. Kind of. It’s similar to other things to an extent. The way things are sequenced/tracked is throwing me off, though. This helped a lot. Thanks.

Hi, please could you help me ? When i edit a sample : i cu t and transpose, after i assigned on one Pad. If i copy the same sample on other pad, if i transpose again on the other Pad 2 : why the original sample on fisrt Pad is automatically transpose. So i have the same sample on Pad 1 and Pad 2. Exemple : i would like Sample fisrt Pad in Am, and second Pad in Cm. Thank you.

I know that it will be sound but how much of a difference it makes in practicality?

If you are a Mac user then please beware that Apple is no longer going to support kernel extensions so this interface will not be supported unless you use the DriverKit option and doing so means the performance is going to be less than and not as robust.

Strange, I don’t understand why the audio is failing while the performance meter in Bitwig isn’t even at 30%. And a 4-5 times performance difference isn’t realistic. Something is off…. Also how is it possible to have no midi latency with a 2K buffer? It really doesn’t make any sense to me…

FL Studio is better than both in my opinion. So easy to use.

What if you want to edit the notes in your daw from the track in the mpc...how do you get the midi notes to play the mpc sample in your daw? or do you just do all the editing of the beat in mpc and then the only option is exporting as a audio file? also is exporting in a audio file better for the sound quality? is that why?

One con for me is no multiple headphone out. Why does no body talk about that. If you record multiple artists or you track artists you might need at least 2 otputs. So you'd need to get a headphone amp or something right?

I'm completely mind blown that I can import Ableton sessions into Bitwig. Yes it's not perfect, but it's definitely useable for moving over incomplete projects and song ideas I've started in Ableton, do a few fix-ups and continue working on them in Bitwig. Thanks for the tip!

15:31 Question: so once you've done the play back and start recording again does it automatically go to the end, not recording over what was already captured or will you need to forward to the end before resuming record to not lose what you captured? Also this (Durec) works on it's own and can be used while recording in your connected daw? Thanks in advance
